Hi there! I'm Sakkie. This is my pixel art subdomain, which has been a dream of mine since the mid-2000s.

My history with pixel art is heavily intertwined with my history with blogging: I was basically reading a W.I.T.C.H magazine mentioning blogs as the coolest trend of the moment in 2004. It did not take long for me to find Dolls.com.br, the Brazilian dolls website that opened up this whole rabbit hole of pixel communities.

As an 8 year-old child who did not speak English, now I feel intense FOMO of the forums I could not visit (I do remember seeing Eden Enchanted and other cool forums around *sigh*). Additionally, my coding skills were next to none. This community may be dying, but at least I can finally own my own domains and host my own websites. I haven't improved the art skills at all, but hey, it's a process. LOL
